Thank you Newcastle festival for a great ukulele festival in September 2022.
Three great ukulele festivals this year. The Blue Mountains, The Central Coast Ukulele Festival and Newcastle Festival. The ukulele has come full circle and there are some amazing ukulele groups out there now. Great singers and players I have witnessed at all these festivals.
It’s fun, it’s community its friendships and live music.
If you have a ukulele you will be guarantee to make a new friend in no time, get off your couch and come and join us. It’s easy, minimum fuss and you can make it simple or as complicated as you like. You will have a lifetime of fun.
We have started two new beginners or refresh classes.
Lake Munmorah Monday – beginners on Monday Morning from 9.30am-10.30am
Woy Woy Tuesday from 6pm – 8pm.
Plus we have our existing all levels classes. Mondays and Thursday see class details for addresses.

A brilliant fun and educational festival at Wangi Wangi RSL on the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie.
Great music and artists, merchandise, gizmos, Pintxos and Paella, Barista Truck, luthiers Steve and Joanne, raffles and much much more.
Our workshops will host some great artists/masters
Rob Kitney – well know session drummer, audio engineer and producer (and ukulele player) – makes sense timing and Rhythm with the ukulele
Ross Ward Legendary Blues guitarist singer songwriter from the Sunday Drivers, Wards Express, The Defenders, is going to mentor you in some great Blues and on the uke too!
Glenn Ewing – Bass player and cool dude from Mirrabooka will offer practical advise, new skills that will be of instant use playing and learning bass.
Bring along your C harmonica for his Harmonica Workshop.
Miss Elm is travelling from afar to teach you how to be your own band with looping.
Adele will show and teach you the basics of the beautiful Hula. Bring along your sarong or grass skirts.
Ian Fisher Dip Op, Grad Dip Music will put the fun into the fundamentals of singing.

We are excited and ready for you! Only 5 weeks to go for the Central Coast Ukulele Festival (CCUF) 2022. A celebration of our 10th festival.
Over 300 performers and 50 acts will bring you a happy event only the ukulele can do. The program is ready and the workshop are set to intrigue, entertain, and educate. Our ukulele collectives come from far and wide and are ready to entertain you.
We have merchants, Luthiers, Markets, BBQ’s, Barista truck, Fabulous food and service from Wangi Wangi RSL, the club with a view!
Friday 13th starts at 3pm with Welcome to Country and then a super jam and BBQ for those wishing to start early in the beer garden overlooking the beautiful lake as we watch the sun set over Lake Macquarie we will begin our Showcase.
Friday night we Showcase of “The Ladies Of Uke” glamorous evening with a beautiful line up of Ladies to perform their songs for you. The restaurant will be open and dishing up some yummy food.
Saturday, 14 starts at 8.30am with the Bush Poets breakfast and BBQ serving up Bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs on rolls. The Barista truck will be ready for your coffee needs and an entire day of Entertainment awaits you.
Our workshops start at 9am at the Sailing Club right next to the RSL club.
Saturday night we will showcase the “Ladies of Rock”, the ever impeccable Cameron Murray and the unique style of Johnny Devilseed and Old Man Rubes.
Sunday 15th we invite you to breakfast at 8.30am with a Poets Breakfast, Coffee, and a Hula workshop to get those hips moving, and another full day of great entertainment and workshops.
So, tune up and get ready for a brilliant happy weekend!

So if you would like to perform or have a stall, now is the time to apply
We have a wonderful festival planned and included for the first time a ukulele Poets breakfast for Sat/Sun, plus uke jams, open mic, workshops, a mobile barista cart, paella cart, merchandise stalls, luthiers and music music music from all you wonderful players and more.
A courtesy bus is available all weekend, the local bowling club has free camping for those who are self-sufficient. Accommodation is available around the Lake including Belmont and Swansea as the Ferry is now up and running to Wangi Wangi. I will send a timetable with the program once we have 100% guarantee.
