The Central Coast Ukulele Festival
Hello and Happy New Year wonderful ukulele players,
At this stage I am happy to say we are still all a go for our Central Coast Ukulele Festival March 4,5, and 6. 2022
The outcome of our meeting yesterday is if the law allows us, then we are ready to go! Whoo hooo!
We are as excited and we all have our fingers crossed.
We have a wonderful festival planned to include for the first time a ukulele breakfast for Sat/Sun, plus uke jams and open mic, workshops, a mobile barista cart, paella cart, merchandise stalls, luthiers and music music music from all you wonderful players and more.
A courtesy bus is available all weekend, the local bowling club has free camping for those who are self-sufficient. Accommodation is available around the Lake including Belmont and Swansea as the Ferry is now up and running to Wangi Wangi. I will send a timetable with the program once we have 100% guarantee.
IF however the powers that be come and spoil our fun (again) I have been guaranteed that only the date will move to a time that is safe for all of us to enjoy.
We have been waiting and waiting to find out if any changes will occur to our festival this year.
The current status until January 27th we may not be able to go ahead.
Whatever the new restrictions announced are we will be making our final decision based on NSW health between February 5-7 so stand by.
At a pinch we may be able to hold the entire festival outside under awnings and marquees by the Lake as another option.
So stand by for further details.
Keep strumming and fingers crossed.
I look forward to seeing you soon
