Newsletter for June 2012
Thank you everyone again for all your help with our very first ukulele festival. It was a massive success. I have so many people to thank and a list will go up shortly, however until my meeting with TCM at The Entrance I’d like to say, with out you all it would not have been possible. So my gratitude and enormous thanks goes to you all.
This Sunday 10th June at Woy Woy markets (weather permitting) we have a marquee to sell wares and goods. If you have a second hand ukulele you would like to sell here is an opportunity for you. We are also performing between 11am -1.30pm.
Set list attached.
If the weather is inclement we will not be there (can’t get our uke’s wet) but if occasional showers perhaps, so contact me on 0412837008 if in doubt. I will also send an email if cancelled.
For those who would like to handle the stall please let me know or just would like to come down for a set or two that’s fine.
Saturday 16th June at Niagara Park Rehearsals Studio we have a Beginners workshop. This class is of benefit to all learners and those just starting out.
Sunday the 17th Lea and Alison have organized, for our first birthday, (weather permitting) a BBQ/lunch/picnic on the shores of Gosford waterfront between the swimming pools and the Yacht club. Time 12 noon. Bring your favourite fare, drink, ukulele’s and blanket. If weather is inclement it will be cancelled and an alternative date and place will be decided.
Wednesday 20th June. We have been asked by probus to perform at Brentwood Retirement Village. From 9.30 – 10am Morning tea provided. For those who are interested please let me know.
