Beginners only ukulele classes just finished for the 8 week course.

Will start a beginners class only soon. All levels and all ages welcome to any of our classes from Woy Woy to lake Munmorah.

Important Notice

Next beginners class will resume Saturday 14th September and not Saturday 7th – due to the elections and local traffic in the area.

Beginners class will resume Saturday 14th September from 12-2pm after our djembe class (10-12pm) at Niagara Park Music rehearsal rooms.

CENTRAL COAST UKULELE FESTIVAL 2013

Can you believe it,  the time has come around so quickly.

The Central Coast Ukulele Club presents our very own ukulele festival for the  second year running at The Beautiful Entrance Central Coast.

A jam pack two days and two nights full of ukulele entertainment,

Friday evening – chill out with the delicious sounds of Mirrabooka at the Canton Beach Sports Club,  Toukley from 7.30. Enjoy a meal and ukulele entertainment.

Saturday from 9 am the Sails Stage comes alive with the sounds of ukulele playing, workshops, and strumming and humming and it’s ALL FREE!

Sit back and relax to the sounds of this wonderous little instrument whilst you sip your tea or coffee, have breakfast and relax in the spring weather and soak up  the atmosphere.  It’s all FREE

Saturday evening we have a dinner show at the Surf Club with 5 fantastic acts. from 6.30pm

Sunday it’s all go at the Entrance from 9 am and ukulele players from all across Australia will perform, strum, sing, show you how it’s done in a jam-packed day filled with music, markets, raffles, kids things everything!AND IT’S ALL FREE.

Open Uke Night

Open Uke night this Thursday at the Tall Timbers Hotel, Ourimbah. All  welcome 6-86. Raffles, prizes, sing your favourite song, open uke, do a song or two on your ukulele, group songs, sing your favourite song, great entertainment, theme is ‘come as your favourite holiday destination’ great food, drinks, tea, coffee, great folk… 6-10pm – love to see you there… fundraiser for charity ‘wheeling and able’ raising money to get kids under 21 to get them mobile.. love to see you there xxxx

Tall Timbers open uke is this Thursday evening 6-10pm – no class at Club Tuggerah. all the family welcome, great food, cheap drunks, tea cofee.
This month funds raiser will be going to Wheeling and Able a wonderful charity celebrating their 80th year. lets get behind and enjoy a great evening.
Wonderful prizes, raffles and lucky door prize.
Sing your favourite song – be Glamorous.
Great acts wanting to sing a few songs – is one you – let me know
Should be a terrific evening and all for charity.

Rehearsals for Hawaii………….

30 and Sunday 7th July  rehearsals for Hawaii Niagara Park rehearsal room from 1-3pm

For those attending our Hawaiian trip this is most important you make these rehearsals please as stage setting and set’s will be rehearsed these days.

UKULELE CLASSES IN LATE JULY

AT THIS STAGE AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE ALL CLASSES FROM THE 17TH JULY UNTIL THE 29TH JULY WILL BE CANCELLED.

I repeat no classes during this time due to Hawaii trip.

ALL CLASSES WILL RESUME TUESDAY 30TH JULY AND THEN AS NORMAL. We will need to re attend these classes. Once we are back from Hawaii as we will need to pull together for our festival. We are the highlight of our festival and folk are coming from near and far to see us and enjoy our festival.

Ukuleles to Hawaii. I am getting mixed reactions and advice from airlines, travel agents and so forth – please stand by for information. The common knowledge is we can take them on as hand luggage.

A crate or container was too complicated and expensive.
