Thank you, ABC radio Wendy Harmer and Robbie Buck for your invitation for us to perform at the SydneyRecital Hall  for ‘Sing Out Sydney’

It was certainly a treat and honour for us to perform in front of Sydney’s most incredible choirs and to perform in the mass choir ‘Kulba Yaday’ by Christine Anu

A brilliant day made with memories we’ll cherish.

It’s been a fabulous year with invitations to not only perform at Sing Out Sydney, but we have also been invited to perform next year in Hawaii for the 50th annual Ukulele Festival in Waikiki! This is such an honour.

We are excited and have our travel plans in place. If you are going to the 50th Ukulele Festival in Hawaii we’ll see you there or of you would like to perform with us drop me a line

Other exciting news is that our Mirrabooka Band won the band comp (Central Coast and Newcastle) to perform at the Blues Festival Girrakool next March.

All in all we have had a great year and 2020 is shaping up to be even better.

Central Coast Ukulele Club 2019-2020

Aloha wonderful ukulele players, friends and followers.

It has been a world wind of a year full of surprises.

All classes running brilliantly and welcome to all our new members!

Our year started off in early January this year where we performed  in Opotiki New Zealand for the Island View Festival, a fabulous festival and people. From there things never slowed down for us and have been busy ever since.

We had an amazing festival in August with so many talented players. Really very enjoyable to sit for three days and listen to the incredible amount of talent that came to perform for us.

We made great friends. Funny little four string instrument really brings people together and friendships are made.

We have been invited to perform at ‘Sing Out Sydney’ on November 10th with some amazing choirs to sing an amazing song  plus we are a featured act and will be singing with our ukuleles at the recital hall Sydney. Very exciting.

We have open Mics between now and Christmas at the Tall Timbers Ourimbah, Halekulani Budgewoi, Hardy’s Bay community club. Our annual Band camp at Anna Bay plus a wonderful trip to the northern rivers and Kempsey for performances and workshops.

Christmas is looking hectic too with Christmas spectaculars and events.

We are looking forward to a small break in January where we will start all over again with new adventures from Australia Day! Then to the Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival and our own local ‘Love Lanes’ festival in February.

We have our own Ukulele Festival earmarked for late August 2020  so pencil that in your diary.

Our big news is we will be heading to Hawaii in July 2020 to perform at the 50th annual Ukulele Festival Waikiki! This will be such an amazing event, experience and so much fun. We are honoured, we can’t wait!

More to come soon, thank you for your support

Take care

cheers
