Workshops will also have their own PA . Workshops are designed to help you hone your skills and provide a feast for your senses.
The workshops are available for sale on the day. This will be available at our merchandise desk. Please be patient and courteous to our volunteers who have been working hard to provide everyone with a great time at our festival.
We will have merchants, raffles, money tree , and a tonne of talented folk.

The Nukes will be here for their reunion show with the fabulous snapper.
The Nukes will be performing two shows as the original 3 and with Josh as the fabulous 4.
So much talent to be heard and seen and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it all.
Our ukulele collectives, bands and duos are working hard to present to everyone a fabulous performance. I am sure it will be an amazing event from and to you all.

Saturday and Sunday will be busy with great acts from poets to big bands, so many fabulous ukulele entertainers to listen to.

The Nukes have two different workshops available.
Gillian Eastoe – the original rock singer and legend who at 70 is still working and belting out amazing songs will be hosting a vocal workshop.
Terry Murray – an amazing guitarist and ukulele player will be providing a brilliant ukulele workshop
Shawn O’Friels workshop on Hawaiian rhythms and strums
Paul Jonson has new workshops and it will be hard to choose which one
Dave Oz Parker will present an improving your open mic skills
Rob Kitney on timing, percussion and djembe
Glenn Ewing – how to learn UBASS
Beginner ukulele, harmonica, techniques, hula, and more to come…

Our Central Coast Ukulele festival is shaping up to be amazing!
For our Dinners Show with silver service 3 course meal Guest acts include: – The Nukes from New Zealand with their Reunion show with original members, welcome back Snapper! Snapper is coming out of retirement to perform at our festival! Also with a full 4-piece line up with, “Dave Fingers of Fire”, “Ben Country Boy Collier”, “Josh the amazing new talent” and out of retirement the one and only “Snapper” With new songs, new workshops and new CD. Terry Murray, guitar and ukulele master is a treat with his contagious humour and incredible playing along with Gillian Eastoe the original rock chic Paul Johnson from New Zealand, with new songs and new workshops Cameron Murray will delight you with his new songs and frightening speed. Connor Wink and Shawn O’friel, have been busy writing new songs and these will not disappoint you. They are amazing. Along with local band Mirrabooka and a host of other artist a fabulous exciting night awaits you all to kick off our festival. Seats are limited.
Saturday and Sunday mornings we will host a poets breakfast and then followed by an amazing array of talented groups, artists, collectives internationally, nationally and local.
You are welcome to come and listen to all the live music or join in a sing-a-long or jam.
Open mics, songwriting competition and jams all planned for a terrific weekend.
2023 has been a huge year full of events, turns, performances, and mishaps. We did, however, have an amazing year and you have all have come leaps and bounds with our weird and wonderful performances and lessons. Thankfully we will finish the year with the highs of the past 12 months, and we look forward to spending time with you in 2024 where we shall be back bigger and better.
My apologies for not updating you all of late but that is a good sign to show how busy we have been as a ukulele collective.

This Is usually our Lake Munmorah class however due to the council re-doing the floor boards we are temporarily moving to Mannering Park Community Hall. Dunvegan St, Mannering Park.all.
I can’t believe how fast this year has flown past.
My apologies for not getting back to most of you regarding our festival this year. Yes, we are keen, yes, we have the talent, the team and the goods to get us going however, finding a venue here on the coast at this stage for such a large crowd has proved very hard.
We are working on it and have our ukulele plucking fingers in a few pies and places and it seems at this stage we will have to postpone our festival until next year around the end of March before school holidays.
We haven’t forgotten you and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the lovely emails and words of encouragement we have been getting.
Our last ukulele festival was sensational, even epic! Each great act put on such a brilliant showcase and with that so many visitors came to see. It seems we have just grown too big for our regular venues especially after the COVID period, as many places prefer not to have such a big audience.
We may take the risk again and go back to the Entrance an keep our fingers cross for brilliant weather.
I know some will be disappointed at this decision and I will say this, it will be back bigger and better. Each group I have seen play at other festival recently have been amazing. The talent is sensational, and I am biting at the bit to showcase it all again.
