A new beginner class is starting at the Wyoming Community Centre from the 22nd of March at 5:45pm. Please see class page for location and map details.
Our last Djembe class held at Our Lady of the Rosary is on the 4th of March. We’re trialing a new weekly Djembe class at Wyoming Community Centre from Wednesday the 22nd March.
Due to touring schedules there will be no classes between the 8th and 17th of March. Classes will resume of Monday the 20th March.

Due to Australia Day being a public holiday there will be no classes held tomorrow Thursday 25th January.
There will also be no classes held at Lake Munmorah on Monday the 13th February due to maintenance.

A new year and new beginners classes starting now
these are for people who have not yet played the ukulele before or who have left it for a while a need to brush up their playing.
Learn how to hold the ukulele, where to place your fingers and make chord shapes. basic strumming.
These classes are for the ukulele tuned G C E A or baritone D G B E
Soprano, Concert, Tenor and Baritone. Perhaps you need to know about these ukulele’s or have a banjolele? Come along and learn all about these uke’s and more
The classes are fun , easy and in great locations and air-conditioned comfort.
Easy chords – we’ll start with basic 4 chords and work up to eight. You’ll be strumming and singing before you know it!

Thursday 12th from 5pm-6pm
Diggers at The Entrance in the Pavilion room followed by beginners to intermediate class 7-9pm.

Aloha and Happy New Year to all
2016 was a huge year for the Central Coast Ukulele Club with so many highlights I don’t know where to start. Here was just a few.
In January 2016 we partied in the New Year at Wyong RSL… 100’s of us there to celebrate with great friends, good music, yummy food and terrific friendly club.
2016 February we had a brilliant time at the Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival,
SeaFM treasure hunt and many performances at nursing homes and retirement villages.
2016 March we were busy with our classes and performances at Lake Haven and Whatanobi, Easter and chocolate eggs and a beginners course at Tuggerah Library
2016 April we has performances toasting the Coast, Bateau Bay Community, Ettalong Bowling Club, Wyong Council Chambers
2016 May – we went/performed in Hawaii for our cultural tour and met the wonderful Keale and Susan. Great teachers.. we even learn’t how to speak a little Hawaiian and dance the hula. An amazing experience and we ended up on “Entertainment Tonight” LOL!! that was so much fun… and then we circumnavigated Ohau and had a brilliant time..this was a trip we will never forget. We love Hawaii
2016 June – we went/performed in Darwin for the MUFF festival. Our gracious hosts looked after us and we experienced our second outback tour. We love Darwin.
2016 July – performances and open ukes at the Tallies, Lake Munmorah, Christmas in July.
2016 August – Wyee markets, nursing and retirement villages, Tall Timbers hotel, getting ready for our festival
2016 September – The Central Coast Ukulele festival… with The Nukes, Bosko and Honey, Cameron Murray, Mic Conway and much much more. A bevy of wonderful talented acts came from far and near to our festival and performed. Brilliant!
2016 October – Newcastle Ukulele Festival and local performances
2016 November – Our brilliant Anna bay trip – Arabian nights with camel rides, belly dancers, feasts, dancing and trivia… wow what an amazing time.
2016 Christmas performances at local venues plus Gwandalan Carols and the wonderful Bucketty carols by candlelight.
So…. here we are 2017 – ready to begin a brand new year full of ukulele excitement… plans in place already for
January 26 – Australia Day Concert Lake Munmorah
February 11 – Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival
March – Tasmania tour
July – New Zealand tour
September 21 – 24 our Central Coast Ukulele Festival

Ukulele Workshops featuring Cameron Murray followed by Cameron Murray in Concert


Friday 23rd from 10am – 2pm Ukulele Teachers & Leaders Sharing and support day in the Pavilion Room at the Diggers At The Entrance, Central Coast Hwy, Long Jetty.
FRIDAY 23rd Evening is our brilliant Dinner Show. Bookings still available please call the Diggers on ph 4332 3399 to book a reservation.

Saturday 24th evening AFTER DARK UKULELE FUN.
Join us back at the Diggers Club for more ukulele fun. 3 restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a full stage in the liquid lounge
This is going to be a fabulous night of Entertainment for all and it’s FREE. Plan to get their early to grab your able and seat.
Courtesy bus available to and from the Diggers Club
Strum along with everyone from 7-8.30pm
Then you re in for a treat with some great acts, ukulele dance, ukulele laugh and ukulele fun until 11.30pm
Sunday 25th September
We are all back at The Memorial Stage with a brilliant line up of musicians to Entertain you and we’re bringing the kids to perform for you too, they are so excited (and very good).
Be there early to grab a seat or set up a picnic rug and enjoy another day of fabulous Entertainment
